THE SECRET OF BECOMING A VICTORIOUS DISCIPLE

INTRODUCTION

God wants us, as believers, to continue to grow in our faith, so that we may become victorious disciples of Christ in this world, for He Himself has already been victorious and has granted that victory to each and every one of us (Romans 8:37).

CONTENT

There are four secrets to becoming successful pupils/students.
  1. Believe that HE is Elohim (Ephesians 1:18-21)
  2. In Psalm 91:1-2 it is written that as a disciple of Christ:
    • who sits” means being close and willing to listen to His Words (Isaiah 50:4-5), and also like Mary (Luke 10:39). All members of the FMC congregation, come to the Cell and participate in the Lifeclass/Destiny training.
    • “under the protection of the Most High” shows that He is greater than every threat we face.
    • “under the protection of the Almighty”, emphasising that His power is sufficient to confront and destroy every enemy.
    • “shall say to the Lord”, assures us that His presence is always with us.
    • "My God, in whom I trust" reveals the truth that God has chosen us for an intimate fellowship and is proof that we trust in God.
  3. We are children of God by grace (Ephesians 1:22-23, Romans 16:20)
  4. As children of God, we are restored, transformed and filled by the fullness of Jesus Himself in our lives. When all things have been placed under Christ’s feet, then, as His beloved children, we too possess that authority, and the enemy’s power is crushed beneath our feet.
  5. We are soldiers of the Kingdom of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)
  6. Christ wants us to be strong through His power. As He has already provided us with His full amour, we must be trained to put it on and be ready to march out onto the battlefield.
Have faith that the victory is ours.
  7. We are God's witnesses through the blood of the Lamb of God (Revelation 12:10-11)
  8. The blood of Jesus has cleansed us, freed us from all sins, and made us witnesses of Christ. Therefore, we must equip ourselves with the protection of His blood.

CONCLUSION

Now is the time for us, as disciples of Christ, to claim victory. Victory is within our grasp and the harvest is ripe; what else are we waiting for? Go and preach the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20).
