MULTIPLICATION
INTRODUCTION
God not only desires His creation to multiply, but also to fill the earth (Genesis 1:28).
CONTENTS
Steps to experience multiplication:
Persevere in prayer (Acts 1:14a, Acts 2:47)
Jesus’ disciples experienced multiplication.
Before they experienced multiplication, they first persevered with one accord in prayer. And the LORD continued to add to their number, and they were held in high esteem by all the people.
Giving life (Acts 15:25-26)
Psalm 126:5-6 states: “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.… Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” All the more so for those who sow their lives for CHRIST; surely it is not merely a matter of shouts of joy, but multiplication in every respect.
Sowing wealth (Acts 4:33–34)
The early church was a community whose lives were not bound by worldly pleasures. For them, wealth was of no importance.
The most important thing in their lives was the LORD JESUS. The Bible records that they always lived in abundance (Acts 4:33).
Proclaiming the Word (Acts 4:20)
“For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”
The Bible says that they proclaimed the Word with great boldness (Acts 4:31b).
The Holy Spirit, poured out on the day of Pentecost, had given them all the courage to proclaim the Word (2 Timothy 1:7).
The same Spirit that the Lord has given us is the Spirit that gives us the courage to proclaim the Word. Because of their courage, the Gospel was eventually spread throughout the world, and souls were saved.
CONCLUSION
From the very beginning, God has planned ‘MULTIPLICATION’ for us, the human race.
