BECOMING A VICTORIOUS DISCIPLE

INTRODUCTION

Being a disciple of Christ means living in absolute victory thanks to the certainty of Jesus' presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. Read and meditate on GOD'S WORD from last week.

The impact of a victorious life
The victorious disciple not only retains the blessing for himself, but also becomes God's instrument for others:
  1. Be a bearer of the Spirit:
    2. God gives us the "tongue of a disciple" so that we can strengthen, comfort, and give new encouragement to others who are weary or burdened.
    “The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.” (Isaiah 50:4)
  2. Be a role model:
    3. Through perseverance in grace, strong disciples can guide fellow believers who are weak in faith.
    “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

CONCLUSION

Position yourself as a disciple of CHRIST.
