CELEBRATION OF THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (Pentecost)

INTRODUCTION

The Lord Jesus said that we will only have the power to continue and complete His work when the Holy Spirit is poured out into our live (Acts 1:8).

The church of the end times must act in the same spirit and in the same way as the original church. Only in this way can we fulfil the expectations of Jesus Christ for this generation.

 

CONTENT

The Holy Spirit is the source of power/ability/capacity/steadfastness and open-mindedness/endurance/patience/willingness/humility/obedience and faithfulness, that are needed to shape us into a generation, that will form the core of the Church in the End Times (Acts 2:14-18).

We will see that the phenomena or events of the Early Church will be repeated in the present time, namely:

  • Young people who love God and show their obedience and faithfulness become         servants of the movement, like Philip.

  • God's servants who are anointed by God as ministers of restoration, who are raising up a new generation of converts, who will then become militant servants of  movement, like Paul.

  • Churches that are open and reaching out to everyone, without taking into account the historical background of the country, ethnic group, tribe or people.

Thus, the fulfillment of the Great Commission will reach its climax (the Gospel will be preached throughout the world), and the LORD JESUS will return.

CONCLUSION

How do we experience the Holy Spirit in our lives, so that we experience the fire of God, the fire that is changing and giving light in our lives?

  1. Come to Jesus, for only through Him will God's promises be fulfilled. Accept Him as Lord and ask Him for forgiveness (John 14:6,26; John 7:37-39a).

  2. Ask Him (Luke 11:9-13).

  3. Receive by faith (Galatians 3:14).
