IT IS THE LORD WHO PREPARES A REVIVAL
INTRODUCTION
The invitation is given when the feast is ready (Luke 14:15-24). The Divine Feast is a picture of God's invitation or visitation/ revival.
CONTENT
A. The party depends on the party organizer.
They are described as poor, crippled, blind, and lame. They are found in the streets, alleys, and paths (Luke 14:21b, 23), which possibly means they are homeless.
These people don't seem ready to go to a party at all. But even if they're not ready, two things are important:
1. The party is ready!
The readiness of this feast does not depend on the invited guest, but on the inviter himself!
Remember, redemption/revival is ready. Jesus prepared it for you by dying on the cross and rising from the dead!
2. They are willing to come.
They didn't look for reasons to refuse! The people in Luke 14:8-20 seemed more prepared, but they looked for reasons to refuse.
B. The good things can prevent us from receiving the best.
Possessing fields, cows, and a wife is not a sin
But all these things can keep you from receiving the best (feast/Revival). Why? By setting the wrong priorities!
Likewise in the spiritual realm. If you prioritize these things over GOD, they will keep you from receiving the best/experiencing Revival.
CONCLUSION
Rise up, GOD has prepared a Revival and an opportunity for all of us.
