THE POWER THAT GIVES LIFE
INTRODUCTION
Ezekiel 47:9 – God's power, which is the Holy Spirit, set us free from slavery of sin (2 Corinthians 3:17), raises a dead faith, and enables believers to lead a victorious life every day (John 6:63, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Romans 8:11).
Content
- The meaning of the Life-Giving Spirit
- Set free from the law of sin. Left to their own devices, people tend toward the desires of the flesh. The Holy Spirit breaks the chains of sin and provides the law of life.
- Renewal of thought and character. The Spirit changes our thinking so that we become more like Christ. This produces spiritual fruits, such as love, peace, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
- Gives new strength. When our spiritual self is formed and brought to life, we no longer give in so easily to problems, worries, or physical weaknesses.
- How to Experience the Inspiring Spirit To keep our spiritual self-alive and full of fire, there are various spiritual disciplines that must be constantly put into practice:
- Read and meditate on the Word: God's Word is the spiritual "fuel" that nourishes our human spirit every day.
- Pray and build intimate relationships: Prayer is a way to connect with the Holy Spirit, so that His power continues to work in our lives.
- Obey the guidance of the Spirit: Kill the desires of the flesh and surrender all control over your life to God's guidance.
CONCLUSION
Let the Holy Spirit continue to flow in our lives.
