TRAIN YOURSELF TO WORSHIP

INTRODUCTION

Train yourself to WORSHIP, when holiness is considered old-fashioned and worship has become just a spectacle/show, when worship has become routine and not a relationship (2 Timothy 3:1-2,5; 1 Timothy 4:7-8).

CONTENT

God's Word gives an uncompromising warning: in the end times, there will be a generation that will ignore religion.

Some will maintain a spiritual facade, but reject the power and depth of true worship.

Paul, on the other hand, urged Timothy to train himself in worshipping.

This is not about outward appearance, but about spiritual discipline and faithfulness in building a daily relationship with the Lord.

  1. THE GENERATION IN THE END TIMES IS LOSING RESPECT FOR THE SANCTUARY.

Many have come to consider divine matters as unimportant. Holiness is no longer respected, and worship is considered outdated or irrelevant.

  2. WORSHIPPING/GOING TO CHURCH IS NOT JUST A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, BUT A PLACE WHERE GOD'S POWER IS REVEALED.

People can remain religiously active, but they don't experience true/visible transformation. True worship touches the heart and brings about real change.

  3. WORSHIP NEEDS TO BE PRACTISED, NOT JUST LEFT TO ITS OWN DISPOSAL.

Just as our muscles need exercise to become strong, so too does our spiritual life. Discipline in worship builds endurance and intimacy with God (1 Timothy 4:8).

  4. DISCIPLINE IN WORSHIPPING/GOING TO CHURCH BRINGS ETERNAL BENEFITS.

Physical exercise produces only short-lived results, but an exercise in worship plants seeds for the present and future life.

CONCLUSION

Let us not be part of a generation that only appears spiritual, but is actually empty. Train yourselves in living worship and do not become accustomed to spiritual emptiness.
