INTRODUCTION
In Hebrew, "holy" is "kadosh," which means to exalt.
WHEN HOLINESS IS NO LONGER A CALLING: WORSHIP IS MERELY A ROUTINE
Let us read from 2 Timothy 3:2 and Isaiah 29:13.
"Abandoning religion" in 2 Timothy 3:2 is not just about leaving the church or not worshipping.
It is about losing the fear for the Lord and treating worship/service as a routine, without awe or respecct for the Lord.
Isaiah speaks of people whose "mouth glorifies the Lord," but whose hearts are far from Him.
We are not in a crisis of spiritual activity, but rather in a crisis of holiness in our personal lives.
CONTENT
HOLINESS IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS THE IDENTITY OF A BELIEVER
Without living in holiness, we will not walk with God, but will only walk in the shadow of religion.
WORSHIPING WITHOUT RESPECT = A VAIN ROUTINE
We can sing, donate, even preach, but without respect it is all empty.
LIVING TESTIMONY SHOWS WHO WE HONOUR
A godly man does not need to speak much; his own life is a testimony.
GOD DOES NOT LOOK AT THE APPEARANCE, HE LOOKS AT THE HEART
God is not looking for busy people, but for those who truly love and respect Him.
CONCLUSION
Don't lose respect for God in our behavior!
Beautify not only your spiritual appearance, but also your inner purity.
