INTRODUCTION

Focusing on the Lord means directing all our attention, thoughts and life priorities towards Christ, rather than towards problems, fears or worldly desires.

CONTENTS

  1. Do not look at the storm; look to the Lord (Psalm 34:6)

    When facing serious problems, our struggles often seem overwhelming and God seems small because we have misplaced our focus. Remember that God’s hand is long enough to help.

  2. Make God your top priority (Matthew 6:33)

    Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all your needs will be provided for. Love for God must be the foundation of every decision.

  3. True knowledge and obedience (2 Timothy 1:9)

    “He who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace...”

CONCLUSION

Spiritual focus means aligning our thoughts and behaviour with His Word every day, meditating on it day and night, following the example of Joshua and the Apostle Paul.
