THE LORD AS THE BREAKER
2012-Feb-12 | The Lord as the Breaker |Goal
Each one of us desires to make PROGRESS and to experience new better things than before. As time goes by, however, this desire has become weaker and weaker by seeing one problem after another that presents itself along the way. Therefore we need the Lord who acts as the Breaker for us (Micah 2:13).
This is what God does as the Breaker:
1. God wants to lead us
The Lord will act as our leader, therefore we must allow Him to take over. It means that we don’t only let Him approve with what we want or what we plan to do, but we let Him be the One who decides and who leads us by the hand, so we may take firm steps firm. It is like Moses who said that if God was not going with him, he would not leave that place (Exodus 33:15-17).
2. God wants us to be with Him
The phrase “they will break out” means that the Lord will take us (His people) to experience breakthrough. Without God we can’t and without us God doesn’t want to. We must do our part and the Lord will do His.
3. God wants to get us out of troubles
The phrase “pass through the gate” means: the Lord will get us over our own limitations just as in Luke 5:4-6. The Lord has opened a door for Peter and his friends so that they could overcome their problems.
4. God will not give up despite our situation or our weaknesses
It doesn’t annoy God to keep on guiding us, training us and standing by us until all His plans have come to fulfillment. This is in contrast with men, who may get tired and fed up. Therefore don’t give up no matter whatever situation you are in right now for the Lord never gives up!
CONCLUSION
Let us make the Lord as the Breaker of our live for He will make a way where there seems to be no way!
