THE YEAR OF BREAKTHROUGH THE GODLY ANOINTING FOR EVERY BELIEVER
2012 jan 1 | THE YEAR OF BREAKTHROUGH THE GODLY ANOINTING FOR EVERY BELIEVER|Goal
What must we do in order to experience a BREAKTHROUGH? We must be anointed such as David. Because under the anointing there are miracles, blessings, breakthrough and many other kind of things.
The Godly anointing:
1. gives boldness to face the enemies
(1 Chron. 14:8) "...and enemies went out against them". The enemies here concern evil spirits, including moral, mental and financial problems. We must have the boldness to cope with those things. It means that we must leave sins behind us, so that we will not be defeated, instead we will overcome.
2. stirs up a desire to be with the Lord (prayer)
(1 Chron. 14:10) "And David inquired of God. The eyes of the Lord are always set upon those who are close with Him. Prayer is not just a shortcut to reach our own goal, but it is a full surrender of our lives to God, willing to be shaped according to His plan.
3. gives power to break through
(1 Chron. 14:11) "God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water". One that gets a breakthrough is not affected by his circumstances, but he affects his own circumstances to bring about a positive change.
4. gives new ideas
(1 Chron.1 4:14) "You shall not go up after them; circle around them". One that is anointed by the Lord doesn't rely on his past experiences when dealing with a new problem, instead he will make up a new strategy.
5. gives a spiritual sensitivity
(1 Chron. 14:15) "And it shall be, when you hear a sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry tree..". Don't be sensitive to the voice of God only, but also to sins and the evil one, so that you may not be deceived but remain strong.
6. gives faithfulness to the Lord
(1 Chron. 14:16) "So David did as God commanded him..." One, who is faithful to God, will stand firm in good or bad times.
7. gives promotion
(1 Chron. 14:17) "Then the fame of David went out into all lands...".
CONCLUSION
The word "Christ" in Greek language is "Kristos", which means "the Anointed One". In other words, the anointing is already in us who are in Christ. In order to increase the anointing upon our lives, we must let Christ increase, while we must decrease (John 3:30). Let us receive His anointing, and let it increase more and more, so that we will experience a breakthrough in our lives. Have a blessed 2012!
