Each one of us desires to make PROGRESS and to experience new better things than before. As time goes by, however, this desire has become weaker and weaker by seeing one problem after another that presents itself along the way. Therefore we need the Lord who acts as the Breaker for us (Micha 2:13).
Hannah was Elkanah’s wife, who did not have children, because her womb was closed (1 Sam 1:5-6). What Hannah experienced, is oftenly experienced by God’s people as well. The closed womb can be taken as a road that is blocked or a door to blessings that is closed for the people of God. When we are in such a condition, what we need is a breakthrough in our prayers.
The theme of this month is taken from Micah 2:13. If we want to have a breakthrough, we should follow the example set by our Lord Jesus Christ for He is the One who breaks through.
God used the attack by the Philistines on David to have him taking steps in faith (1 Chronicles 14:8).
